Hi Crafty people of the world, hope today is being kind to you.

Wanted to share another card with you.

The Giraffe rubber stamped  is from Stampendous and the Branches (?) that I used for the border is by Stampin Up.

I used Old Olive ink from Stampin Up for the branches border and I used the edge of the ink pad to add some color and texture to the edges of my card stock.

For the giraffe, I stamped it using Jim Holt’s Distress Black Soot and I used Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers to color him in and also add some grass. Unfortunately I don’t remember which colors I used, but I will get better at making notes as to what I have used and list the colors used as well.

Have a great day, thanks for stopping by!!

And so it begins.....

Hi Everyone,

I have started this blog to share my Handmade Greeting Cards and Gift Tags that I make.  I have always had a love for paper crafts, taught Scrapbooking classes for several years and have had a paper collection since I was a kid.  Here are a few of my creations....

This card above was created using Unity Stamp Co. red rubber stamps, colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and the yellow/red strip of paper shown here was handmade using some refill inks. (and also made a huge mess, but the end result was worth it!!)

This card above was made using the Butterfly rubber stamp from Stampin Up, a sentiment stamp from Unity Stamp Company, and some scrapbook paper (can't remember company name)  I have had for a few years. It was one of my favorites, so it was hard to cut it up. (yes, I am that girl that buys pretty paper and sometimes can't bring myself to cut it because it is just too pretty...lol  Yeah, I know, I am a little crazy, but that's okay, they know me here...lol)

This card above was made using the Dragonfly rubber stamp from Stampin Up and the words are a rubber stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

Tags are also another favorite, sometimes for gifts, sometimes as bookmarks, and sometimes just a nice tag to hang in your office space to cheer you up or get you motivated.

Stay tuned for more projects and hopefully some tutorials whenevr I figure out how to work the video camera...lol  Till next time crafty friends!!!
